Most executive officers are volunteer positions that give members the opportunity to learn about Union work, collectively make decisions and support all OTBU colleagues in their school roles.
President: Official representative of the Unit. Serves as one of the Unit's Grievance Officers, and the Unit's Provincial Councilor.
Chief Negotiator: The Unit's liaison to the Collective Bargaining Committee, and with the committee, is responsible for preparing the Negotiating Brief. Presents the terms of settlement of a collective agreement with the OCDSB to the membership for information and ratification. Serves as one of the Unit's Grievance Officers.
Vice-President Educational Services: Organizes professional development workshops/activities/events for members. Processes applications for our PD Grant. Performs the duties of the President in their absence.

Vice-President Political Action: Performs the duties of the President in their absence.
Treasurer: Keeps accurate account of the Unit's business/budget and presents the Annual Budget to the Unit membership for approval.
Constitution Officer/Secretary: Ensures the Unit Constitution is maintained. Record and arrange the keeping of records and minutes of Executive and General Meetings.
Communications Officer: Ensures that the membership is kept informed through regular publication of news and information.
Equity, Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Lead: Facilitates equity training and/or access to resources related to equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression for Unit members. Maintains an open dialogue with provincial OSSTF on local issues of equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression.
Health and Safety Officer: Unit’s representative on the Joint Health and Safety Committee
Executive Officer 1: Carries out duties as delegated by the President.
Executive Officer 2: Carries out duties as delegated by the President.
